Chess Computer Corner

The FIDE Candidates tournament takes place in The Great Hall in Toronto, Canada. Round 1 is on Thursday 4th April and the final Round is Sunday 21st April with tie-breaks on the 22nd April if required. Play starts at 14:30 local time which is 19:30 BST. The winner will play Ding Liren in a match for the World Chess Championship later this year. Players: Ian Nepomniachtchi, R Praggnanandhaa, Fabiano Caruana, Nijat Abasov, Vidit Gujrathi, Hikaru Nakamura, Gukesh D , Alireza Firouzja. The event is a double round robin, the Indian and US players will play each other early in each cycle.
