Connection between a Novag and old PC computer

Hello everyone,

I would like to ask if any of you have already succeed making a connexion between a Novag chessgame and a PC computer?
I would like to save games played with a Novag super expert C on a computer (unfortunately I have no Novag printer).
I do not have the original Novag software, so I am currently trying some tests connecting the Novag to a vintage computer (with serial port and Windows 98) using :
1) a TTL-RS232 cable ( according to the instructions :
http://www.schach-computer.info/wiki/in ... eplacement)
2) a connection to the PC using the serial port and the HyperTerminal software that is included in Windows source 98 (instructions in the pdf here : http://www.google.fr/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=& ... 2s&cad=rja).

Making this, the Novag seems to communicate with the computer but for example when I press "send game" on the Novag, the Hyperterminal displays an Alphanumeric text that is not comprehensible .
Does anyone know if the Hyperterminal software can be set for a novag super expert ?
Perhaps this old mode of comunication could help other owners of Novag "compatible pc" chessgames (such as Novag super forte / Diamond / Scorpio / Diablo / Super expert ) to save their games without the necessity of printing (the suitable novag printer is hard to find and probably requires specific paper rolls..).

Kind regards
Francis
