The US Chess Championships take place in Saint Louis Fri 11th Oct to Thu 24th Oct 2024. Players: Fabiano Caruana, Wesley So, Leinier Dominguez Perez, Levon Aronian, Hans Moke Niemann, Ray Robson, Samuel Sevian, Sam Shankland, Awonder Liang, Grigoriy Oparin, Abhimanyu Mishra and Christopher Woojin Yoo, Women's: Carissa Yip, Irina Krush, Gulrukhbegim Tokhirjonova, Tatev Abrahamyan, Nazi Paikidze, Anna Zatonskih, Thalia Cervantes Landeiro, Atousa Pourkashiyan, Jennifer Yu, Megan Lee, Rose Atwell and Alice Lee. After his loss to Fabiano Caruana in Round 5 Christopher Yoo was involved in an incident which led to him being expelled from the tournament. More details are likely to emerge so I can't really sensibly comment.
