Chess Computer Corner

The 8th Sharjah Masters took place Sat 17th to Sun 25th May 2025. Leading players: Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Anish Giri, Parham Maghsoodloo, Samuel Sevian, Amin Tabatabaei M. Shant Sargsyan and Gabriel Sargissian etc. Anish Giri took clear first place with 7/9 beating Mittal Aditya in the final round. Nodirbek Abdusattorov could only draw with the black pieces against M Amin Tabatabaei. Bibisara Assaubayeva drew against Rinat Jumabayev and became the 43rd woman to earn the GM title.
