The Titled Tuesday Blitz 27th May 2025 events were missing both regular winners Hikaru Nakamura and Magnus Carlsen who were otherwise engaged in Stavanger. The early event was won by Wesley So. Key to victory was his Round 9 win over second placed Rinat Jumabayev, 33.Bf4? was the decisive error. So then beat Denis Lazavik and drew with Anish Giri in the final round. Tuan Minh Le is a reasonably regular winner of Titled Tuesdays, he drew against 4th and 3rd placed Frederik Svane and Jeffery Xiong in rounds 10 and 11 respectively and won all the rest of his games.
