The FIDE Women's World Cup takes place in Batumi, Georgia, Sun 6th Jul to Sun 27th Jul 2025. This is a seven round knockout with 107 players. The top seeds are Lei Tingjie, Zhu Jiner, Tan Zhongyi, Humpy Koneru, Anna Muzychuk etc but the top 21 players don't enter the competition until round 2. The event is wide open with for example Carissa Yip, Alice Lee, Anna Ushenina not being highly seeded dbut surely having a chance to do well.
