The WR Masters takes place in Dusseldorf Wed 15th to Sun 26th Feb 2023. This is a new elite event and the field has many players in common with the recent Tata Steel tournament in Wijk aan Zee. Players: Ian Nepomniachtchi, Anish Giri, Wesley So, Levon Aronian, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Jan-Krzysztof Duda, Gukesh Dommaraju, Vincent Keymer, Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu and Andrey Esipenko.
